Biography

Dr. Manal, CEO, PHCS made a notable impact on healthcare sector throughout her career by achieving No.1 rank in Satisfaction with availability of quality healthcare according to Gallup Report 2019, Economic implications of an ageing population according to IMD Competitiveness Yearbook 2018 and vaccination coverage index by Legatum Report 2018. She was President of Emirates Society of Ophthalmology and presently Executive President of International Scientific Alliance for Family Medicine. She has led the adoption of many international accreditations, including ICXS. Her impact surpassed UAE, as she touched lives of people globally being CEO, Noor-Dubai Foundation by distributing 77million medicine doses, conducting 365,000 surgeries in 22countries, bringing back eyesight to those in need. She was honored for her humanitarian work by H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, 2018. She has received 28 accolades, including Rashid Awards for Scientific Excellence and Distinguished Government Employee, 2006. She supervised 127 initiatives that contributed in raising happiness of over 1million patients annually. She achieved 100% Emiratization of health leadership positions in the sector.
Entrusted by leadership, led the preparation of Dubai Disability Strategy related policies, Dubai Health Forum with approximate 6900 attendees and currently heading Genome Project, Dubai 10X project, which could revolutionize medicine in UAE.
