Dr. Martine McManus

Biography

Dr Martine McManus is Group Head of Pathology and Laboratory Services for VPS Healthcare, a multinational healthcare group based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has an MPHIL from the University of Cambridge, and completed her medical studies at Trinity College, University of Dublin. She completed an Anatomic Pathology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City followed by a fellowship in Oncologic GI Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She served as Co-Director of Surgical Pathology and Chief of GI Pathology at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, where she was an NIH grant-funded researcher in colorectal and pancreatic cancer. ​Her work has been published in ​American Journal of Surgical Pathology ​ , ​Clinical Cancer Research ​ , Journal of the Pancreas, ​Inflammatory Bowel Disease ​ , ​Endoscopy ​ , ​Investigational New Drugs ​ , and ​Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA ​ . She moved to the UAE in 2014 as a member of the opening Staff of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
